Wherever YOU Go

Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

No matter where you go, the Lord your God is by your side. Take a moment to really let that sink in. God is there with you. You could be facing your biggest battle yet or having another tough time but know He is there.

In Joshua 1:9 the Lord commands strength and courage because He has already given us the greatest weapon against fear, His presence. So many times when fear stares us in the face we break down. "Why me?" is thrown around through the tears allowing fear to gain another foothold. While our human reaction might be to give into fear and feel defeated in our present situation the Lord has other plans. He wants us to stare fear in the face and defeat it. He wants us to have victory in our situation. Your situation may seem very daunting and unbeatable but the good news is the Lord already has the victory over it ALL. All you need to do is realize that GOD IS WITH YOU WHEREVER YOU GO. Think about it... JESUS healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, made the lame walk, brought the dead back to life, and then conquered death to give us everlasting life. He won the victory so all we have to do is believe in Him and He will be all the strength and courage you will ever need.

There is no situation, hurt, sickness, fear, or unhappiness that the Lord can not conquer and help you find victory in. The road may seem long but the Lord is by your side. The mountain might seem too steep to climb but the Lord will give you all the strength you need to overcome it.

Where we are weak the Lord is strong! So use the strength He gives you to continue to walk alongside Him and victory will follow.

The Lord Your God is with YOU wherever YOU go.

Smiling in Surrender

We need to learn to smile in surrender. Surrender is giving something (ex: person or situation) up to the Lord and not asking for your own will to be done but His will to be done. When you surrender things it does not mean that everything will turn out the way you want it to. Maybe the situation that you surrendered did not go the way you planned. Yet, when you look at the situation and revisit it you know that the Lord's will was done. The next time you have a surrendered situation that you believe comes a little far from perfect, look at it again. Ask yourself- Was God glorified in this situation? Did He use you to further His kingdom? Was His Word proclaimed? Was a lost soul able to see Christ in your actions? When you answer yes you can smile knowing God always has the right plan and outcome even if it may at first look a little far from perfect.

Tomorrow Could Be One Day Too Late

Tomorrow could be one day too late.....so know and believe:

Jesus is the only way to have eternal life in heaven by His side
Jesus is the only way to be saved from ALL your sins
Jesus is the only way to understand and know truth
Jesus gave you His literal Word to guide you through life
Jesus is your answer to your heartbreak, your hurt, and your pain
Jesus is the reason for unbelievable joy, lasting hope, and an everlasting love
Jesus desires a personal relationship with you
Jesus loves you and died for you to show you how much He loves you
Jesus wants you to be immersed in His Word, in fellowship with His people at church, and loving Him with all your heart, mind, and soul
JESUS

Know and believe JESUS!

Do you believe you are a sinner and do you want to repent and turn from your sin?
Do you believe that Christ is the Son of the Living God?
Do you believe that Christ died on the cross for  your sins and rose again on the third day?
Is it your decision today to make him the Lord, Master, and Ruler of your life?

If that is  your decision today...

Romans 10:9 says:

New International Version (NIV)
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Begin your personal relationship with Jesus by talking to Him. Thank Him for His great sacrifice, and declare Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

The heart is very fertile ground. Anything planted there - love, hate, fear, or hope.......will surely grow and bear fruit. So choose wisely what you harvest.

“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness.” James 3:17-18

God is SO Good

Psalm 106:1

Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.

Psalm 100:5

For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

God is daily pouring out blessings onto each of us. Allowing us to be healthy, answering our prayers, creating the beauty of nature, and giving us His Word to guide us, strengthen us, and transform us. Do you truly realize how God is working in your life? Just think of how many times you asked God for something and He answered that prayer. Did you thank Him with an overwhelming uncontainable praise?  Or did you just go on with the rest of your day? We need to praise the Lord with all of our being for what He has done! He must be praised and unendingly thanked for His many infinite blessings! Don't take them for granted! The Lord God is so so good and He is worthy to be praised! Keep track of what you pray for and when He answers your prayer write it down. You will be blown away to see how the Lord is working in your life. Remember we need to thank Him for the small and big things.  From allowing the sun to shine on a glorious day to being alive! We should be praising Him daily because we are alive and well and living on this Earth that He created. Praise Him for sending His Son Jesus who was sent to save us from our self, our sins, and an eternity in hell. If you are not praising Jesus with all that you are all the days of your life, that should be reason enough! PRAISE HIM for He is so so good!!!

Unwavering Faith

Unwavering faith is such a beautiful thing to witness. The Lord has blessed me by putting Godly women in my life who epitomize what it means to have unwavering faith. One of these women is my mother. She strives everyday to be like Christ and even during the hardest of trials she is found at the feet of the Lord. The joy of Christ is seen bursting out of her bright white smile in the ups and the downs of life. Praying continuosly and worshiping the Lord are a few of the many wonderful things she does best. I am beyond blessed to have such a beautiful example of Christ as my mom. Her faith encourages me to always trust in God's will, live out the joy Christ has given me, and never underestimate the miracles that God can do. Thank you Lord for the blessing of my mom!

The Lord who is ALWAYS faithful leaves me awestruck. Awestruck over His miraculous works, His connection with His people, His unchanging characteristics, His glorious love for His children, and His will. Every day I find out more about the Lord and I see that He is MUCH MORE grand and glorious than my finite mind imagined.

Take notice of the Lord's faithfulness and how He works in your life. Seeing the Lord work and realizing how your days and even your trials fit into his bigger picture will place you in a state of worship, a humbled state of awe, and give you a heart of overwhelming thankfulness.

The Lord is unwavering faithfulness... Are you striving to be that beautiful example in someone else's life?

Think About The LORD

Life has ups and downs. There are times of unexplainable joy, everything seems to be going your way and the wind even seems to be blowing you in the direction you need to go. Then there are those other times, it seems as if the load on your shoulders could not get any heavier and you laugh when something else doesn't work out the way you thought it would because you don't know what else to do. I have encouragement for you in those other times. The Lord more powerful then our finite minds could ever possibly attempt to IMAGINE knows what we are going through and gives us the strength to get through. I know you hear this a lot but it is the truth. We are not to be living this life in our own strength ANYWAY. If you need a load on your shoulders to get you to give your everyday up to the Lord well maybe that is why it is there. Just try this, when life seems to be crashing down around you ...THINK OF THE LORD. Think about the Lord and how GRAND and GLORIOUS He is, how many INFINITE BLESSINGS He has unendingly bestowed upon you, and how He wants  you to cast all your cares upon Him so He can shoulder the burden for  you. The Lord just wants what's best for you and if you are going through tough times you think you can't handle you are right YOU can't handle them but guess what the Lord will willingly take your problems and those tough times and give you strength while He holds you up through it ALL. I know things can be difficult, your heart could be broken, you could have lost a loved one, you could be struggling with an illness you just can't seem to beat, you could have financial issues, or it could just be all those little things that seem to be insurmountable but you know what... the Lord is there for you and He heals all those things. He mends the heart of the brokenhearted, He is the great physician, He is the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings, and no problem is to big or too small for Him to handle. So find hope in this...the Lord of all there is and all there ever will be LOVES YOU, CARES for YOU, and will HOLD YOU UP through all the difficult things you may be going through. Find hope in the Lord and think about Him when the tears are pouring down your face, when you can't seem to place one more foot in front of the other, or when you just don't think you can push through another problem. THINK ABOUT THE LORD AND REJOICE! He won the victory for you and there is nothing you and the Lord can not conquer together! He will love you and uphold you through it all. God bless you all!

Thank you Lord for your unending love, hope, blessings, strength, and help. I will ever praise you!!!

Faith is not believing that God can - It is knowing that He will.

Watch Your Footing

“When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, LORD, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.” Psalm 94:18-19 NIV

Wow, He is always there for us; reaching out for us and grabbing our hand when we fall. Love and joy, peace and hope, help and guidance, these things truly only come from the Lord. Grab His hand when you are slipping but remember you don't have to slip to reach out and grab His hand. Rely on Him in the good times as well as the tough times. Know God is Good and He loves you very much!!!!
