Slipping

“When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, LORD, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.” Psalm 94:18-19 NIV

Wow, He is always there for us; reaching out for us and grabbing out hand when we fall. Love and joy, peace and hope, help and guidance, these things truly only come from the Lord. Grab His hand when you are slipping but remember you don't have to slip to reach out and grab His hand. Rely on Him in the good times as well as the tough times. Know God is Good and He loves you very much!!!!

Status Update

I am sure you know of a social website where you can update your status. You can be available, busy, idle, and even invisible. What is your status with Christ? Are you busy, invisible, idle, or are you available to have a personal relationship with Him? Are you to busy with all the things and to do's of this world to have a personal relationship with the God Almighty? Are you hiding from Him because you want to remain in your sin? Have you just been idle, stuck at the same place never growing or learning about Christ just keeping the identification- Christian? Do you for go these built in statuses and make your own where you are the center of attention, it is all about you, and you get all the glory? Or are you available to cultivate, grow, and dive into the main facets and depths of our Savior, Lord, Hero, Helper, Healer, and Father?  Think about what your status is with Christ and then make your status about a constant transformation and dedication to loving, living, and moving closer to Christ. I want my status to be  permanently available- saying, I loves Jesus and am doing everything I can to be more like Him everyday. Don't you? Have a blessed week!

Monday Inspiration

Grace is receiving what we do not deserve….Mercy is not receiving what we do deserve.

“The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.” Psalm 103:8-10

Have a wonderful week!

Strength in Weakness

God uses the tough times in our lives to show us things we often forget. When we are feeling swept under by waves of struggle we are forced to our knees. Our cry to our Lord who hears, who helps, and who heals becomes louder and that is all we can do. We are in a state of constantly crying out to God Almighty and relying on Him for our next breath and our next step. In this place we are ever calling for Him and ever reaching for Him. Just think about the utter weakness you are in at that moment or during that time. You know that only through the mighty strength of Jesus can you succeed. He speaks to us in those times and says, "[m]y grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9). Do you take advantage of that? You can either lay down and let your weakness consume you or you can let the superior unending overwhelming power of the Lord God Almighty shine through your weakness. Nothing is the same when you allow the Lord to work through you and you rely on Him every step of the way. The truth is "... NOTHING is impossible with God" (Luke 1:37). It doesn't say a few things, some things, or just the small things are impossible with God. It says NOTHING, meaning no matter what you are going through, what you are up against, or what waves of struggle are sweeping you under He has the power to help you, heal you, save you, and strengthen you. Forget what you don't think is possible and live the impossible with God! Remember to give God all the glory. Praise the Lord for He is good!
